Neighborhood Walk with Geoff Paddock

On Saturday, July 27 residents of the Foster Park Neighborhood were joined by 5th District City Councilman Geoff Paddock and City leaders to walk our neighborhood. We discussed a variety of topics including the future upgrades to the Foster Park entrance, traffic calming and the intersection closure, sidewalk repairs, and public safety. Thanks to the neighbors who joined us to share their ideas and concerns. The discussions were detailed and productive. Thanks also to Councilman Paddock and the City staff in attendance for giving up their Saturday morning to hear from us.

Great American Cleanup

Thanks to the volunteers from the Foster Park Neighborhood who spent a Saturday morning cleaning up Indian Village Park as part of the 2019 Great American Cleanup! We filled 10 bags with trash from along the sidewalks, roads, and riverbanks.
Based on the positive response and feedback, we definitely plan to organize another group in 2020. If you are interested in helping with these types of community service projects, please send an email to fosterparkneighborhood@gmail.com.
